Open 60s
An Open 60 class yacht is the formula one of offshore sailing; designed to be sailed by only one person over large distances in such races as the Vendee Globe or Route du Rhum (See Races). These extreme machines have developed rapidly since their conception in the early 90's. This website aims to provide technical information about every Open 60 ever built, with the ultimate intent to analyse design trends.
Information for Open 60's investigated to date are shown below and can be arranged alphabetically by current boat name or designer or chronologiaclly by build date.
